well, i'm currently studying at a two-year college which i just transferred to after 3 years in a 4-year college (i won't even go into the ironies of that statement... o_O)
anyways, i was taking a visual communication major at my previous college (American University) and they're pretty well-known for the field...
Montgomery College, where i'm doing an illustration major now, has a pretty kickass visual comms technology department, and the art department's not too shabby either...
of course, the only drawback is that they only offer associates degrees and certificates, and not bachelors... but there's always the option of transferring, and being a two-year college, they focus more on the hands-on aspect of things early on, unlike the more theoretical approach of most 4-year colleges (generally speaking, anyways)...
whew, that was a mouthful...
so, who'd you work for as an animator? i saw the concepts for your animation, and i think it looks pretty awesome... hope to see the finished product...
