hey nice painting! I get that certain summer/fall feeling from it.
Phh... been cold and raining all week down here in Uppsala. Soon it will be winter. Makes me sad. Anyway I'm glad I don't live up north... can't stand the cold.

That's the view I want to have when I'm old and dying, minus the cats.

The ligthting is very good, the ony thing i would like improve that the face of the white cat were a little more detalied it looks a little flat.
I like the picture a lot that is the only thing i kinda see not quite well,

Looks like some kitty lovin' is about to commence. Look at how the darker cat is looking at the white cat. Ooohh she's in for some lovin'.

Nice one, Socar.

Take it easy,
Malachi

Snorkles - Thanks! I was hoping to get that feeling. It's been a bit nippy up here in Ume this week, with exactly that colour of light coming from the sky (pinkish-yellowish), and it just snuck right into my painting.

Max Kulich - Thanks! I think I still need to work more on getting a good sense of depth at the horizon line, though.

HoodZ - Haha...maybe a bit too cute, eh? Thanks, though.

GG - Come to Ume, then...there are views like that here.

Max Tormer - Good point. I hadn't noticed that about the white cat's face--thank you for pointing it out. Glad you like it, otherwise.

Malachi - Of course, I can rely on you for a perverted comment! I swear, that really wasn't the intention, though! I don't even know if the cats are actually opposite sexes...the owner didn't tell me.

el scoono - Hey, thanks! Glad you like it!

xmmx - Haha...I don't think the owner of the cats would have gone for that...I sometimes put inoffensive easter eggs in published work, but never in private commissions. Glad to hear you found my tutorials helpful, too.

I love this-- Is it the cover for an upcoming cat romance novel?

Really though, I love it.
