Hey i dont know if this deservers an own thread ,but i was were saticfied whit it, and i need some critic
Its done in psp whit a mouse ,and i used a ref ...what do u think??

thx max ..hmm what can i say i painted it in paint shop pro whit my mouse , it took 30 min ..i used a reference ...steeled the lightest pic on the ref used it as basic then used the darken tool ...what more can i say?

Do you wish to more accurately copy the information in the photo? Or do you wish to alter or interpret it in some way? Not sure what you are trying to do...

hmm i started of making the propertitions like this ...
Then i marked the eye balls mouth and nose whit the darken tool ..
Then i made those a little bether


Then i made then i made the shadows also whit the darkening tool ( i made them a little ruff at first
Then i just continued whit the darken tool and tryid to make the best i could whit the shadows ..
The in the end i soften it at som places ..

Maby it took 40 min

You should be a little more thorough in smudging out the watermarks from the photo first.
People have gotten yelled at before around here for this kind of thing, but the only time I could see a problem is if it is represented as something that it is not.

But you would probably get more out of it if you drew it freehand (without tracing) and then did not use the photo in the final image at all. That way you have to observe and interpret and execute it all yourself.

It can be a good exercise in seeing and playing the difference in edges- if you look at the nose, the hardest edge of all is the inside portion of the shape of the nostril. Make that a little harder than you see it, if that is your subject. Then find the softest, and make that a little softer. Then rank the rest of them the way you see them in between these two extremes.



Edges area lot like values in that they are relative to each other. Like a high-key or low-key painting, all the values exist in a range that relate to one another. Same with edges.

Ee now i added some colours to it ...But i just stole the colours from the ref ,so its not big ,but what a hell ..here it is
