This is my first cityscape ever. I've never quite understood how you can draw a city without going insane with 2pt perspective. Maybe thats the price you have to pay, I don't know :/ If anyone has any tips on how to create believable cityscapes, let me know. I sort of cheated and have it dark and hazy. The figure was included just for kicks. Thanks

it�s not too tough once you get the hang of it - how about building the geometry with pen&paper, then drawing over it with whatever medium you prefer.. if there�s a bigger scene I usually do the footpoint plane first (with complex objects even draw it without foreshortening, then foreshorten the footpoints by hand) and build up the objects on that...though you can always cheat and use a 3d program.
I think the left half could stay as it is, I couldn�t see any perspective errors there. |
