Hey, everyone. I recently finished writing a tutorial on UVW Mapping an object in 3D Studio Max 5. Check it out!

http://waylon-art.com/uvw_tutorial/uvwtut_01.html

I haven't had many people look at it yet, so if anything is unclear, misspelled, or just plain old wrong, please let me know!

Cheers!

Nice tutorial waylon, very helpful as I'm about ready to start texturing myself.
The text is easy to understand and very clear but I had to refresh most of the pages to be able to view the images as they weren't loading.

Improvements?
Maybe if you add a list to the front page then whoever is reading could go to certain sections instead of going all the way through it from the start.
And possibly making the images enlargable.

Quick question.
Does texporter 4.x work with max 5?

Thanks for the comments, everyone!

Axl - You're right, I'll make an index on the front page to all of the sections. Good idea. And... hmm, the images ARE enlargable, but it's a javascript thing, so you don't get a hand icon when you do a mouseover. I'll look at that again, if too many people are having problems.

Oh, and yes, all max4 plugins work with max5. At least, all the ones I've tried, anyway. (including texporter. )
