Wheeo... haven't posted here for ages.
Anyway, this was inspired by the background work in various animated movies. It was very different from anything I've done before, maybe that is apparent. C&C much welcomed.

at first you dont realize the boy is wearing beige shorts.

otherwise a pretty cool image.

thats one of those moments that strikes a chord with me.. I used to be a fighter jet fan when I was younger.

this picture is really nice, but maybe you can work on the clouds a tad bit, and you could also replace the jets with a kite or something, to make it more natural, just a suggestion, otherwise, two thumbs up

That looks really great.
I love the subject matter and the painting style suits it well.

My only suggestion would be to add a few more visual features such as maybe a tree or another boy. Or maybe even some subtle mountains in the background?

Other than that, I love it!

bouncemonster: Thank you. Actually I thought about adding kite first but jetplanes felt much cooler.
