Humm, I drift in and out of this forum in about five month cycles (though I didn't have a net for a while) so i'll post some stuff :-)
This one's from the DVD cover:
This is some weird stuff I did at night.
It reads, "Favor the Finn, eat your neighbour". I'm not sure if the title has anything to do with the picture.
This one went for Assembly 2002 and even qualified for the screen. The jury was on crack though, marvel/future crew's work didn't even get on the screen :-P
Some weird pencil thing and color by photoshop.
Now the text part:
I've been drawing from reference and gotten better with anatomy from where I was ages ago. My current problem is coloring. I can't get my pictures to be dynamic enough when it comes to light and shadow (for example the assembly picture) and even though I think I use good contrast in the pics, they still come out as rather bland.
So is the best idea for me to continue using references or for example, draw pics of my own (like the assembly one again) and get the color/light/shadow from reference pics (of similar kind).
Cheers. Good stuff on the board as always |
