hi guys havent post anything for a loooong time. but now i made something i do REALLZ like. reason is: we (my class) go to Amsterdam for something like studies, means we visit museum and stuff like this. and we decided to mak us t-shirts so i created somthin. c&c is welcome

Seems flawless to me! Is the shirt going to be orange or will the picture be on a white shirt?

That is a nice design, but why does it have a miruajana leaf in it? I myself am from holland and smoking weed here is the same as drinking a beer because its legal. People will see you here with your t-shirt as a lame tourist who thinks he is really cool with his marijuana shirt. Of course i think that wouldn't be your intention. This is just an advice to you not a flaming.

I think it's supposed to show a stereotypical view ... that it's a result of brainstorming. Drinking beer is legal in germany too (oops I guess you know that) and the marijuana leaf is supposed to show how much we envy you ... not to provoke (of cause there is a wink to it) ...

ja - the mere visual element of "Amsterdam" itself denotes tourism - or could be easily interpreted as such.

I think it's pretty cool, but technically, there're just to many colors / tones in it! Printing t-shirts with this amount of tones will be very difficult and expensive! As someone from digital-decoy said, just a tone for hightlights and one for shadows. The leaf is to detailed, make it more icon-ish!

About the sense of the t-shirt: I wouldn't put it on! Coming to a country and telling everybody "Hey, we are allowed to do "it" sucks, why not just enjoy it?

i think i didnt think of this before... after thinking and talking about it i made the dessision that we wont wear it in amsterdam... its like this, some go to neaple and some to ireland and we wanted to show that amsterdam roxx. some think we are lame because we smoke weed. but i really like the leafe, without it the whole is a bit empty. i would say the main point is that there is the word "amsterdam" under it. if this wopuldnt be there it would just look like a normal shirt. or am i wrong in this point?! BUT we wanted to do the shirt, BECAUSE we go to amsterdam. so it has to stand there... hard to explain for me... it is just like something sportsmen wear. like a team or something. showing we belong together and we are friends or something like that. but not wearing it in amsterdam will be better..
