Another background for my First semester projekt. done in PS 6. Its only 90 % finished. I think the flat buildings should go deeper into the distance, and the right and left corners are a little empty. C&C are welcome, although I have a very limited timeframe for changes,

Hi Christian.
I like the mood you're trying to convey aswell as the palette, but I see some problems.

There's a big problem regarding perspective. The rooftops should point towards the horizon. Also the building on the left is sort of sloping to the right.

If you have the time maybe add some highlight to the towers, play around with shadows, the sun and maybe even the smoke and the clouds.

But first and foremost fix the perspective.
Scott Robertson did some funky tutorials on the subject, perhaps look them up in the search engine.

Other than that. Good job and let's see some more

Pretty nice, I like the idea. Try to add contrast in lighting and brightness, I know that you try to cover the sun with smoke, but the area around the sun could need a brighter than the other parts!

Thanks, Scotts Tutorial is great, I think Itll help me a lot. Im still very unexperienced with perspective, so Ill try to get deep into that topic.
