This is a dog.

It was painted in Painter 7.0 for practice. My first WACOM tablet painting.

Used a silly reference photo from a magazine which I might scan later on.

The fur texture and his expression are great!

The feet look rather incomplete somehow, and it desperately needs a background. And some focus on light source couldn't hurt, either.

That face could double as a dog/man or a baboon/man thing i would think. I love the expression on it, it just looks very human too i think.

His legs seem a little short for some reason. I think because the snout is so long.
