Artists at tiles.ice.org have completed another surreal tribute quilt. This time for Hieronymous Bosch.
The idea behing tiles is that artists can only see a few pixels of the image next to their art and must blend into it seamlessly while creating something unique of their own. Since the artist never truely knows what they are blending into, or where their tile will be placed, the image gets a bit cluttered. That is the whole idea though.
This quilt is composed of 25 tiles created by the folwing 9 different users; Primal_R, Webo, Raganaga, Heinzon, Max E. Tormer, Gecky, Virtue1, Greg, BannerImage.
Hope you enjoy and have comments. If you would like to comment on individual tiles or see more quilts you can do so at tiles.ice.org. Anyone can come and add to out public quilts. If you would like to have a private quilt set up, I can do that for anyone that would like as well.
(sorry that sounded so much like a commercial, I just like to have new artists around to draw with and learn from) |
