Well, trying *not* to slave under reference photos too much...

First one is mostly based upon this one.

While working on it I watched the movie "Tai Chi Masters" (twin warriors) and felt very inspired to continue. I've been told the stance looks like Tai Chi (I wouldn't know...)

The second one was rather strict from a reference to begin with, but I soon dropped it and the picture deviated some.

I know the backgrounds are plain boring (sorry), but apart from that?

Great work! I like It a lot, exspecially the concentration in their eyes, feels like nothing can disturbe It. The clothes are great, though I think theres something wrong with the folds on her legs... I dont know exactly, It looks like there Is to much tension somewhere.

Very nice. Tai-Chi interests me greatly. Though, I think you should have used a Chinese sword in the last one, instead of a katana.

...while on the topic of martial art:

I'm just back from a night on the town, including watching the movie Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon on a huge screen in the middle of the town square, free of charge for anyone interested (about 2000 showed up).
During the weekend a beach volleyball turnament took place here and the sand and the seats set up for it where reused as an enormous outdoor cinema.
This was the third time I watched CTHD, but the fightscene at the school is still really impressive!

C.Lang: I'm happy with the eyes too, and about the folds... they're hard to do!

SplitSoul: I would need a major rework to insert a traditional Chinese sword as they aren't used by both hands (or?). Easier just to say "it's not tai chi" :-)

Gigatron: A very warming comment, thanks!
