looks very nice indeed. The only crit i've got to offer is that those green plasma (or something) things on the warpspider look kinda flat... They're supposed to be bulging a bit outwards? I'm not good at explaining this, hope you get it... Maybe some vertical glares could've fixed that. Anyhow, good colours and a very nice composition. Veeeeerrry nice. Keep it up

There's not really enough action on the gun. The shell is flying out but there's no flash from the barrel or something else to indicate that he just fired. :\

May I also suggest a slight glow to the eyes of the spider creature and or the green on the plasma like weapons it has. ^^ (Just a suggestion.)

Nice picture! It reminds me of Spacehulk! XD
O_o Or that boardgame thing that starts with a "W"... You may scold me if it is intended to represent one of those games... -_-

Thanks Doof!.

SG:
I may just have to add some muzzle flash. true, true.
Space hulk? but... there's no Genestealers or Terminators. hehe. I get ya though, the cramped interior spaceship kinda thingy. I don't know what "w" boardgame that would be.

Warhammer?
that's not a board game, it's a tabletop miniatures strategy game.

Not to pick, but I liked the glow you had (blue) around the arm blades on that Spider guy.

And I think Asurfael ment that the green glass in the plasma spinner should bulge out of the frome of the weapon. have a rounded face to the glass.

It also might just be me, but I think there is a light source on the spider guy that is not that knowticeable on the Marines. But it's just a nitpick! Otherwise great pic. Wish I had the ability to paint half this good!

Bang:
youse gotsta start bein' meaner to me afore i get a swollern head.

Jelo:
umm....

Gimbal:
thanks. Here's to the next one!
i'll probably bang out a few B&W generic post-apocalyptic hero pieces over the next couple weeks. Too much 40k is bad for the portfolio.

Asurfael:
hmm... the deathspinners _could_ be more bulbous. if you mean like the straight lines should be curved and such. I'm not really sure how they're supposed to be exactly, but the Shadow Weaver support battery guns have planar faces, so i went off of that.
maybe i should look that over again.

Just two things I noticed:

1. the anatomy of the Warpspider seems incorrect. The lower leg of his right leg is too short. It seems like the whole body and neck is bend in an unnatural way.

2. the marine who got kicked looks way bigger than the Captain in front, that makes him look like a Oger in Marinearmor.

Mayby you can work on these things

Vardelith:
pick away. i'm not posting just for pats on the back. (don't let that stop anyone though hehe).

i'm still not sure about the deathspinner thing. I see your point, though.
I'll add the blue energy to the blades again when i come back to this image later.

Psionic:
thanks man. apparently i'm not done though. hehe.

SG:
sorry, was just being silly

Fritz:
Perhaps i exaggerated the spider's pose a bit too much.
On the marines... i see what you're saying. Maybe he is too big. I don't know if you'll notice it so much when i split the images though.
(it's supposed to be 2 images that hook together, top and bottom halves).
Still, something i should be aware of.

Thanks all.

I like the shockwave effect of gun blast. Usually people don't draw the muzzle flash after that point in time it starts to dissipate.

took me a second to figure out that the pteradactyl thing is using its cock as a weapon! heheh HOORAY

it's pretty cool. but from a storytelling standpoint i can't tell whats going on. does the dick-attacker want to crush mister shooting-with-no-helmet's head? if he's on their side, okay, but if he's not, why isn't anyone scared or firing at him? what comes out of his cock? why is there a penispump in the hero's pocket? so many questions, so little ass.

thanks, Freddio!

Gimbal: yeah, i didn't want to put the big white cottonball muzzle flash in there. This i think is more optical and less photo.
like this is similar to how i see actual flashes.

Synj. umm. riiight
"they came from...behind!"
