That's some fine work you got there SiLeNt_UK. I like it's simplicity, but... there are still sploches of white in places.

Please make sure that when you post something like this you mention who did the linework and who did the color. It's just a respect thing.

You left the signature and stuff so GJ on that. just mention that you only did the color so people don't get the wrong impression.

but for comments I would say work a bit more on a dominant lightsource. you did pretty good with the light but there are some funny spots.

The hair needs to be broken up at least a bit. just keep practicing

looks like you just used paint bucket over the lines and did some quick dodge/burn, plus you even forgot to fill in al the white spots, like on her hair and at first glance I thought the line work was yours but NO!! If you're gonna CG something put some more time into it. Don't ruin a good line work.

Hello Fate.
Firstly does "first ever" mean nething to you? ive never used photoshop before and this was me gettin used to the program so ure description of what i did is actually fairly accurate. I'd never used a masking tool before or colour burn or dodge or even contemplated layers or played around with different brushes etc. i think u get the point. ill make sure to make my next piece (yes that's right my second piece ever) look as if ive been colourin for the last 16 years. Realistically it aint gonna happen is it. please keep in mind the degree of skill each artist has when u comment. appreciate ure comments

Why don't you post something you've drawn?
(Sorry, not that a nice first-posting. Hello everyone!)

You've done well, some coments were a little harsh I thought, but it happens so ,what can you do really?.

Good shading, looks like you'll get a handle of the tools pretty fast, and previous comments about the hair were true, it needs some texture, check out some tutorials for that.

With the White bits, yeah, you really gotta look out for those, I used to find a lot in my old photoshop work. Just as a final clean up stage after you think you've done all the rendering, go around filling those in for a neat result.
