I'm new to the forums. Hello.
I mainly work in 3d, but lately have been beefing up my art classes and trying to improve my general 2d skills.
Word round the camp fire is that this is one of the best art forums to come to for amazing works.
Just for the hell of it...here is a recent rendering I did.

This was done from a reference. It was a cacoon like dried up hard shelled thing that was stuck to a branch of a tree. Not sure what it was. It's either a trees 'seed', or a cacoon of some sort. It's about 4 inches long. NOt sure. Spooky.

Very funny Kana. I'm a 3d illustrator...but I'm also creative! Imagine that. No really....
My scanner isn't working with win2k right now, so I had to take a D-photo of it. The clearity is pretty...errr...unclear...sorry.
I drew it becuase it had nice lights and darks...and fine detail.
No one likes it I see...well, that's ok.
It was just an introductory image that's all. Thanks. |

I think its cool. I like goofy stuff. I think you should add more texture and make it look slimey or something. Maybe you did and I cant see it cuz of your horrible image quality. Hard to crit when you cant see. BOING! |
