I am very sorry for this, but I think some people here might be interested:

.. as you can see I have been a member for a while and ejoy coming here to view other people's work very much.. so this is not a spam simply an idea I would like to get feedback on. I am sadden when people do not know or cannot post pictures succesfully. Many try free hosting but the anoying adds and the inconvenience might discourage them from posting again.
Well .. I think I can come up with a global solution. I work for a hosting company and was recently in a meeting in which the topic came up "sponsored hosting". This would mean people could get free hosting with tons of disk space and tons of bandwidth.

Imagine this: for as little as $20/YEAR you could have a server to put all your pictures to be used in this forum (no limits, no . I am calculating about 150 people signing up A GROUP effort ! The more sign up the less expensive it becomes!

THEN the good part. ..every certain number of people. Someone chosen by the whole community here at Sijun Forums could get Free hosting! or maybe even more than one person!

As long as everyone keeps it clean and does not abuse the server I CAN make THiS happen!

What do you think? Let me know your ideas and if you think this would work or if people here would be interested...

no .. this is not a scam.. I would never do that to this forum. I love the people here and the community. I might not post many pictures, but visit the forums very often.

I am sorry if I posted this in the gallery section, but this is where most people go and i really wanted to get their attention. I am not trying to make money off of people's work, simply help out.

I just thought because I work at a hosting company I would help out the people here. Sort of like a "SIjun Forum" discount.

Is this a bad idea? I am sorry if I sounded shady.. what do you think would be fair?

Tell you what to proove this is not a scam.. I will right now offer free hosting space to the first 10 people that sign up. You will get 100MB of space, no banners, and hot linking allowed of course so you can post pictures here. Then these people can assure others it is ok.

If we get a good amount of people participating maybe at like $1 a month, I might even be able to get a whole server just for the forums!... and maybe help the traffic that goes thru here, help out Dhabih... migth even be able to host the forums on a server of its own (that is if that is not the case already)..

that is a really cool idea... I seem to remember osk from way back.

If you need space with hot linking availability.. this might be for you.

personally Im quite happy with my provider now... but if anything happens I may just look that way.
