A very nice natural looking piece of work you've got there. I like the colours a lot (if my opinion matters). The background is weird though. For me, the violet looks like it's intruding forwards, thus giving the painting a less 3D look. And the same goes for the rest of the background. I'm not sure as to what it's supposed to represent.

Anyhow, the warrior looks good (again in my humble opinion). The skinnyness somehow makes me think elven, whether you intended it or not. The shading and the contrast between the shades and the highlights seems perfect to me.
