These are the first pictures I did with my tablet. Before I was using the mouse, and now I have a tool of a much better standard for drawing. I did the eye in Painter and the crazy man with the glasses in Photoshop. The pictures are okay, I guess. But also, I'm much younger than most people here. In this corner, weighing 110 pounds, standing 5'4" tall, at 14 years old, It's C.T. YA!!

Yeah, thanks for the advice. That's what I usually use, advice I mean, I just wanted to show some of my art I did with the tablet. You know the excitement you get when you do something you like. |

Well let me be the first one then to congratlate you on geting your tablet. I just got mine a bit over a month ago, so I really share the excitement.
Question though, do you use painter or photoshop. On the B&W it lookss like you're using photoshop and on the bottom it looks like you're useing painter. So I'm wondreing which one are you using? I noticed that in painter the pressure sensitivity shows up as an opacity difference, and in photoshop it's the brush size. Personaly I use Photoshop mostly because it's a familiar. But I'd prefer the opacity thing over the size variation.
I've tried to do mainly portraits though.
anyways - congrats again - and have fun .... |

Um, I use Photoshop more than Painter. I also like the opacity difference in Painter over Photoshop, yet I like Photoshop's features much better, ie. layers, distortions, shadows, overlays, etc. I'm just an amateur so I use whatever seems right for the picture. I find that Painter has much smoother lines, and Photoshop's lines are much more pointed at curves. Maybe that's just my computer, but I normally use Photoshop for colouring. Yeah. Do like dance...
