*emerges from the shadows*
I've finally deceided to stop lurking and throw up a post, I reckon I owe a contribution by now.
So here are some sketches of mine, scanned from A3 size cartridge paper, drawn using a 2b pencil.
This one I coloured quickly with pencils.
I'd like to get into comics and the like, and I want to finish my pieces digitally, but I don't have a tablet yet. I've used mouse to do some digital stuff a while back, and the results were ok, but I don't think I'd be happy using it as a coloring tool for this work. I don't know, think I should wait until I get a tablet?
I don't have a site up yet, but I will eventually

Impressive sketches. The second and third looks best, due to their clean lines, easy to distinguish. The next thing to do is to start colouring, OR, identify the lines by making the main ones darker. It depends on your style. A tablet would be best for colouring I guess, cause the mouse is pretty mindnumbing, I use one, not worth it. For colouring with the tablet, I don't know what, where, who, where or anything. I don't have one, but I'd really like to, so if anyone can tell me what a Graphire2 Tablet is capable of doing, it would be helpful. Pics are good though. |
