Listen up, folks. As only very few of you might know (I guess none), I'm visiting Luna's site every damn day.

Actually, that's not quite accurate, but, err, close enough. My point is: he has some nifty avatars for public usage on his site, which are so tasty I wondered why Si"image heavy"jun doesn't have 'em so I might give 'em a shot. My next thought was: what would the avatars of our Sijun avatars possibly look like?

And at this point the thread you're just reading comes into play. The purpose of this thread is to have you all show off your own ( = you're the creator of that picture) wanna-be-avatars.

Size is critical in terms of web design, so plz don't let them be bigger than 170x170 pixels. Feel free to post the primal version of your work you used to create the avatar in order to share all the details with us, though.

Doesn't matter if your avatar is painted, sketched, rendered or howthefuckever created. Maybe you would wanna use a picture of your face as avatar - wouldn't be the most creative thing to do but at least look sexy, at least in my case.

To give you an impression of what avatars in UBB boards usually look like (you're only reading the Sijun forums, I know), here's a little toon avatar taken from forumplanet.com:

Here's my contribution - for a little change not a drawing (it would had been something with sex as central theme anyway - that's not an indication for my lack of creativity, it's just ... style), but a lill' render.

I call my avatar "Nerdy hairy forum guy whackin' it off".

Don't ask. And no bad ass comparisons plz. Especially not regarding to the author.

Yea, unfortunately, he is Luna. To check, just right click the image and choose properties. You'll see your URL.

he finally posts something other than a drawing of a chick confessing her wet dripping love for him, and it's an actual GOOD thread idea at that .. and you complain about where the picture is hosted?

i mean i get the root of the problem, and i agree it should be fixed .. but there should be more replies to the thread than just about that. if i didn't feel like vomitting right now (completely unrelated) i'd post my own avatar. probably of a man vomitting.

i said i get why he's upset .. he's got every right to be. but at the same time, it's a good idea for a thread and people should participate, even if they want to toss a complaint about his picture link in there too.

Avatars are great, but personally I feel this place especially is really heavy on the ol' 56k dialup. If Avatars are brought in, an option in your profile to turn them on/off would be nice. Infact this place is so heavy on the bandwidth I usually only visit when Im workin in an internet cafe like now.

Christ. I'm actually quite impressed, Flat. Stick to doing 3D stuff rather than drawing crap pictures of women. The monkey texture is still a bit 'shit'.

I'm using it because the original picture looks remarkably like this guy, who used to be the Planet Deus Ex site administrator.
