Here are a bunch of recent experiments. these are all in slightly diferent styles, I'd love to get your feedback on what's working and what's not.
practice with 'grounding' my drawings
a stylized drawing from reference
goind back to my old old roots, playing with painter a little
Aysha Shehim and me playing around on open canvas. I drew the guy, she drew the girl, then we switched for the inking and painting. its not finished, but we had some technical difficulties

Hey I like this!
Especially the first and lasty one (yup, me too)! The first one somehow reminds me of Maniac Mansion 2 ay of the Tentacle You know, those comic-style bent lines of stuff that in reality would be straight - like the windows. Adds a crazy flair to it, and i LIKE IT! Plus it has an "old American" theme with Abe Lincoln, DOTT used Washington, but it gets close...
The last one is cool, because 1) it looks fabulous and 2) is a cooperative work! I love pictures that are done by more than one person (although I haven't seen many consciously) and still look this well! Keep it up and finish it!!! ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Hey Isric, personally I like the 2nd and 3rd pieces. A nice use of strong, bold colours and outlines.
The only one that doesn't work for me is the first and that's because it all looks kind of flat and on one level compared to the others. I know you said that you were going for different styles but the first piece for me just doesn't seem to grab my attention as much. |

cool.. it's nice to see you experiment, losing your trademark line-art.. it actually works really well in the first image.. as to the image itself- i guess you could have taken the distortions a bit further, right now it's slighly undecisive.
oh, heck with individuality, i like the fourth one too! i was sure it was the work of one man until i read the text. you really managed to merge your styles nicely. |

I like the fourth one. It's very expressive and the style looks amazingly unified for two artists to have worked on it...
My one recommendation for change would be to make the background in the second one more of a yellow-gold - that green looks very odd to my eye. |
