Here's progress shots from the latest drawing I've completed. It was a gift for my gf for our 7-month anniversary and her graduation. Anyways, here's the progress pic and the final picture after it.

Member # 984 , wow! your going back a bit... not many posts either! (makes me feel like a posting whore!)
Not a lot to crit really, maybe you should try a more dynamic pose? a camera angle with some more interest perhaps?
You certainly managed to get some 'feeling' into it. The eyes look kind of sad and weary, but with a twinkle of hope aswell. Don't know if you were going for this, but thats the feeling I get from it.
