heres something i came up with today all done in Painter 7.
if theres any way in which i could improve upon this then please let me know.
i feel there could have been more detail in the darker side of the planet but at the same time i felt it might be overkill.

I like the arced light/energy beams on the horizon. Looks a lot like solar flares. The real kind, not the crappy filter. ;p The level of detail in the debris field around the planet, esp. in the background is excellent. Almost photoreal. |

it's good but I'd add a tiny bit more detail to the exploshin stuff on the planet, like the lines wrapping the planet, and I'd get rid of the guy standing there, he just sort of takes away from the pic. Thats just my opinion |
