I was bored and decided to try a new style. I have mixed feelings on the results. I sort of like the different colors blurred, but in some places it looks pretty bad. I didn't like them just sharp and sitting next to each other though .. I don't know, any suggestions/crits?

Interesting style, I don't like it personally, but it probably has some relevance to being a portrait. You have to try and say something about the person, and I'm geussing this does? seems to give out that sort of message. The colours are pretty awful to my eyes, but then again is this for portraiture purposes?
The shapes and economy seems pretty effective, the face and eyes especially have a strong expression on them.
Hope that helps. |
