h� there!

i have lots of mp3s, exactly 2925. but many of them are twice in the playlist. is there a program which deletes the doubles? that would be a big help for me.

Why don't you just clear the list and reload all of your mp3's? Then save the playlist, so you an always just load it if it happens again.

no, it's not that the titles are doubled, the FILES are, k? thanks anyway.

ok first put them in alphabetiacal order.
The next thing you want to do is find the duplicates. Once you've found a duplicate you want to haver your mouse cursor over the duplicate. Next press the right mouse button. You should see a menu popup. Choose the option "delete" fom the menu.

Repeat this each time you find a duplicate.
If you are interested I have a good tutorial on how to do this.

I doubt it, since the fle names are slightly different. But you can sort by name and delete doubled files.

i remember using a program like that a few years ago...
i had tons of images and a lot of them were duplicates...

the program checked file size and content to see if two files were identical and produced a list of duplicates along with buttons for stuff as delete all duplicates and such...

don't remember what it was called though
maybe it was 'CleanSweap' or something like that... not sure...

there is definately programs that do this kind of stuff though

isn't cleansweep a program that monitores what software you installed and then lets you compleatly remove it from youre hard drive ?

If I am right u know why u never heard of it
