My latest painting. This was a real fight to do, but I think I won it and that's what made it fun

The compression kind of omits some detail, so click here for a higher res cutout.

nice atmoshpere, that guy looks like he'd be a nice fellow. Those crows would throw me off though (if I were to really meet him). what's it for?

Isric, good to see you like it better than my head sketches (which were crappy, I admit )
What it is for ? Hmm. I dunno. Personal enjoyment ? Maybe art school application in case it still holds up to my standards by the time I apply (October). What do you think ?

Somehow I like it. I don't think it needs more detail... After the first glance I thought so, and also wondered about the perspective, but after a close look, the only things that disturbs me are his right arm and the crow in the forground. And maybe you could remove some of the brush-noise at the upper right corner.

Nice atmosphere!

pixtur, yes those parts need work, I agree. Brush noise will be removed, too. Thanks for the comment !
