Eh, please don't actually just take the painting and use it as a custom brush. You can get ideas from it, but I put a lot of work into the overall feeling, and I don't really want that simply copied/pasted as a brush...

Some really interesting stuff going on in there. It is alway nice to see people doing trad. stuff here rather than Digital.

Hey guys. I just finished a painting that I've been laying off for about a year. Last summer I attached two 4 foot x 4 foot wooden panels onto my wall, but never really got around to painting them. So, I finally decided to do it. The painting is 8 feet x 4 feet, all in oil. Still drying =] I really enjoyed doing it; I actually got a workout doing it, plus I was able to let go and create something I really like, rather than attempting to draw/paint subjectively and always feeling the results are far too tight and not expressive enough.

Oh, sorry for the terrible lighting/distortion of the lens. It was a quick shot with a bad camera. Hopefully I'll have some time to get a nice shot of it in the future. The colors look really muted in the photo--they're really neat when you're standing up against it =]

I'm going to try to get this in an exhibit...hopefully. I dunno, haven't thought about it that much. Oh, I also have a timelapse I can upload if anyone wants to see it =]

Alright, here goes:

Take care,
Marc
