Okay...there are some things that bugg me...
Her face is great by the way.
I believe you should get rid of the teeth sticking out from the bottom of his mouth.
Work on his eyes.
They are to blurry compared to hers and don't say anything.
They look in different directions, too.
Maybe you did that on purpose...
Get rid of these black lines that indicate...ears?
Define his right (our left) hand more since the other one looks really good.
His arm seems pretty high, too..., the anatomy doesn't really look rightin that spot.
It should be a bit darker.
My opinion...but what do I know?
I really love her face! |

Hey jr, I have a question:
How do you feel about the influence that ormal education from guys like Assael had on you? I mean, on one hand, you have a teacher that is famous for super realistic work, and on the other hand, you are an avid fan of anime/manga/video games. Those two to some people are complete opposites.
How do you feel that as an artist, you were able to digest everything, and what are your feelings regarding their influences on you? |

luna, the thing is, i don't really live in a box and steve is a jedi master but he's not yoda. i'm not sure i'm a padawan jedi apprentice, infact i might be part of the dark side by now with my laziness.
but seriously most of my taste in art and lit is soo varied and so different than those of my teachers, if i did what they did i would be imitating them and that would suck even worse. I've come to the conculsion that i like pretty things. be it anime, kurt vonnegut's books, www.smallstoriesonline.com , all that stuff. as steve says, everyone's got their personal slime, well, this is my slime. having this varied education (that just came to an end btw), has helped me view things differently, i have an apreication for things that i would have never given a second look just 4 years earlier.
hmmm, i'm not sure if what i wrote made any sense. |

Oh yeah, it made sense. I'm only asking because I've observed two distinct sides to you:
1)seriout fine art student.
2)fun-loving anime dude.
I like both of you. |
