I like the image, but I was just thinking about your topic, made me a little confused =) The dudes behind Vader, has some kind of modification of Bobba Fett, who isn't at all a jedi =) He's just a bounty hunter, and there are actually only one person looking like him in the movies. But i've heard some other Fett guy will be in Episode 2.. Nice pic tho =) |

His name is Jango Fett, Boba Fett is his "son" but only because Boba was the first clone made of him. |

A newbie graphics tablet? The Wacom Graphire is superb. If you have cash to burn, get one of the Intuos. |

makototaramoto I think most people agree that an intuos is your best bet for a good quality tablet. That's what I use and I have absolutly no complaints.
As we stated above the idea with the troopers is that they are an elite force of clonetrooper created by the newly formed Empire and led by Darth Vader to find and kill the Jedi Knights. That's why they are wearing the more advanced Fett style armor as aposed to the regular clonetrooper/stormtrooper style. I hope that answers your question.
Thank you all for your compliments and critiques ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Call me shamless, but I just wanted to give this one another try before letting it go into oblivion. |

You're shameless. I envy you
How about some more dramatic lightning? All the colours seem kinda flat now. Like that red light on Vader's chest panel - is it off or something? How about the classical red emergency light from above? Drama...
Other than that, nice. It all looks well proportioned, but the lack of saturation is what I personally miss. Just a thought for your next picture ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Thank you very much for that comment about saturation. It brought my attention to that luminious area behind Vader and I hadn't realized just how dull that was. I was so focused on value when I did it originally that it just skipped my mind. I think it has an added bit of life now. Thanx ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

Ahh.. i've heard about that Jango Fett dude, but I haven't seen Ep2. Don't know if I want to, Ep1 was so horribly pathetic =(
anyway, I like the way the "bobba fetts" are painted (sorry, but to me Bobba Fett is the only Fett that exists but I think the gray on Vader's suit, right below his helmet, should be "glossier" (sorry, my english is not very good). Kinda like the top of the "fett dudes" heomets! Atleast Vaders suit look like that in the movies, just a thought =)
Wish I could paint like that anyway, do you use photoshop or painter? |

Very nice picture. Really like vader's helmet, though the assasins' helmets look a little flat for some reason. Where'd you come up with the idea of Jedi Assassination troops? I've heard that Jango Fett/Boba Fett modeled their suits after the ancient Mandolorian armour...armour worn by those mandolorians..who were supposed to be jedi hunters? I forgot..maybe you can clear it up for me.
BTW, I thought E2 rocked, for the CG alone. To me, it brought a new feeling to CG; It had atmosphere, and felt different than the other CG rendered movies I've seen. |

Thank you for the comments and critiques, guys. I apreciate it a lot.
The_TriumpH I use Photoshop.
Wiked Ewok I got the idea from Lucas. Fett's costume was originally created for an elite stormtrooper unit in Empire Strike Back. But instead it went to Fett. Since Lucas likes to re-use ideas, I thought it would be cool he used this one.
I enjoyed Episode II as well. ![](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |
