Lunatique got me thinking about the diff painting programs out there, in one of his recent post. I'm most familiar with Photoshop, but a lot of what you can do with Painter is great. I also like that Painter's smudge tools aren't nearly as sluggish as PS's are. So as i was messing with the trial version of Painter i came up with this:

Hey, that's pretty cool! The way you did the hair almost looks like some distortion tool.
For a killer blending experience, try setting one of the bristle type brushes to zero resaturation, and various drgrees of bleed. It'll knock your socks off! Make sure the feature is set appropriately though. Too dense will sloooowwwwww down your strokes, and the opposite will make it look like a rake. Between 2 and 4 is usually good for an average size brush. |
