Hi, everybody.
This is an image I did a while back. I did a whole series of these for this gameshow a friend was art directing.
Looking for feedback. Crits and paintovers are welcome.

That's a nice image. It kind of reminds me of Sea Quest. I particularly like the way you handled the textures and the meshes of ceiling and floor.
I am confused though by the lighting. I don't understand why the floor area is so clear and the ceiling is foggy and looks like we are seeing it through glass. |

wow, i don't recall you being around here lately.. nice to see your art again.
i haven't seen an image lighted this way, either.. it's hard to explain. but there's something about it that's very appealing, maybe it's the way you used mostly midtones of a similar hue *shrug*. anyway, it's beautiful  |

| Cool picture, but instead of SeaQuest it's more like the cryorooms in Event Horizon. |

BlackPool: I see what you mean. In the scene, the guy is supposed to rise up through the floor in a vortex of smoke. The haze you see is the aftermath. Thanks for the words.

I love how this image has a "cell shadded" feel to it. It has alot of character. |
