Well, then.
I recently read Little Bee's post in which he explained his method of creating his splotchy, cool-as-hell india ink pictures and got inspired. So I gave it a shot. I sat down in my class today with a bottle of india ink and used a dropper and had some fun. I doubt I got as messy as Little Bee gets, but it's an enjoyable process.
Anyway, what I produced is nowhere near as cool as Little Bee's stuff, and I admit that it's a complete and utter ripoff of his style, I just wanted to give it a whirl, and I thought I'd share the final result.
Sorry if you don't appreciate me borrowing your technique, Little Bee, it's just a one-time experiment.

I see a devil-dog horse. ^_^
I've got to say, being an avid thief myself (and a huge Deus Ex fan), this is an honor!
Thanks so much for an awesome "tribute" (as we prefer to call these things, heh heh!), and I hope more people get into the abandoned style that india ink offers.
Kudos, man! Nice stuff! |
