Something diferent from me. I did this all in photoshop 6 to study textures. It was just for fun, but I would like to hear some feedback from u guys!

Hey I realy like this pic.You said you did this in PS6 wow I am struggling to get half the texture on skin that you got.
Any tips for the people who are still struggling to do a stick figure digitaly?

im shocked by the texture of the skin also..thats amazing-i love the...um...whats it called-the sewer lid and the steam coming out of it--how big is this pic because i think im always working way too small...thats why i never get any good detail
anyway i like the whole pic-no crits |

thank you guys,
I use to explore a lot of texturing techniques in ps6 and save the results to use it later. here is an example of a texture sample. Mostly done using filters(clouds and noise), curves and levels adjustments, and many layers modes and blending options.
I also work separeted for each element in the picture because is faster and less memory consuming. so here is the original eye that I painted in ps6.
After I have the elements, I bring it all toghether for work on masks and color adjustments and start to fuse, blend all layers and paint the last lighting corrections and details.

PS. the size of this img is 1700 x 1000 pixels. but I used to work much bigger!! |
