The first one could be called my usual style. The second one could not. Both were done in Photoshop with only a mouse. Both are based off my novel-in-progress.

I like the second one quite a bit but I am not sure why. Just a style I am drawn to I guess.

on the first one The only recommendation I could give is that maybe instead of black for the shading use a dark blue, it might make it "pop" a bit more and just look cleaner. Sorry if that was an unwanted crit just thought I would throw it out there.
