Great character! Did you use reference for the gun? It doesn't quite work for me. |

I like this too. I like your simple but very effective painting style. I agree with Kari about the gun, it feels a little flat and lacks a shiny, metallic feel. Pretty cool though... love the character. |

Thanks for the kind comments
The gun was actually more shinier in some point, but in the end I had to remove full white values, since on the shirt 255 255 255 value will be treated as transparent. Maybe I'll do a different version just for screen, tho ... |

Holy shit, man. I really like your site design, first of all. As a fan of sketch over smoothness, I prefer the bunny at your splash page. But this is still one frigging awesome rabbit.
Rabbits are so cool, too. Just like frogs and weasels. Do you plan to enhance the image or make other versions? Or should I look deeper into your webpage to find these?
Good stuff. |

umm ... thanks, bee
Don't bother going through my site - you won't find much more than my old (and mostly crappy) photomanipulations, not much paintings there ... well, just a few old and crappy ones I haven't updated the site much.
Hmm ... I don't know if I will enchance this one any more, but I will do more animals, that's for sure. I suck on real persons (ha ! I'm a coward and instead of practising on figure drawing I do what I somewhat can do :P )
So stay tuned |
