...in the commercial for the Toyota Matrix? It's the commercial for a red toyota car where half the commercial is rotoscoped, and half is live action.
it runs as a commercial before the trailers before spider-man...
really industrial/techno sounding...
thanks |

I don't remember seeing that commercial, but I do have a funny story relating to toyota.
There was some kind of beer selling contest for the waitresses at Hooters and they said whoever sold the most would get a brand new toyota. So this one girl wins and they blindfold her and walk her out to the parking lot. They stop and take off the blindfold. She doesn't see a car but there was something there. A brand new toy Yoda.
Bwhahahaha
So she got a lawyer. Long story short she got her pick of an actual toyota. |

I've been lurking around for a very long time, but this post caught my eye since I am into techno and such.
At first listen I would have sworn that the band was The Crystal Method, but with further digging it appears that it isn't a band at all.
It looks like Toyota commissioned that song specifically for the commercial from some sound studio.
This link has a high quality version of the commercial that you can download and listen to the song if you want:

If you like that sort of music I would suggest the albums 'Vegas' and 'Tweekend' by The Crystal Method. |

I went to the movies the other night and that commercial played. When it was over, my boyfriend and I both glanced at eachother and I said, "Wow.... that was a pretty badass commercial."
I love that commercial! Of course, it is probably a hundred times cooler watching it on a gigantic movie screen. *grin*
And yes.... the movie theatre here plays real commercials. |

Umm.... yeah... it was a hundred times cooler watching it on a gigantic movie screen.
Still a neat ad though.... way different than a lot of car commercials.
The car is retarded though. |
