Hey guys,long time no see(again
These are a couple of icons I did for the "Celtic
Kings - rage of war" (it's now called this way game...I'm still working on them so crit them as long as they are
WIP.Soon we're gonna release it Btw,the gray glow around the units is to be changed with the player's colour, that's why they havent got antialiased edges and coloured lighting and stuff
yeah and the guy in the lower right corner is supposed to be me but without the spiked leather clothes hehe

Great work Kosta.
The characters look amazing. The color and richness of the armors are stuning.
If you had to twist my arm I would be forced to tell you that 3 of the characters could use some modifying.
1.) dwarf holding the axe (3row 6th pic) the axe just doesn't look right. perspective might be off. I wish I can give you a more discriptive reason but that just jumps out at me.
2.) Archer with hood (4 row 5th pic) I would suggest pushing the hood back from his face. His head looks distorted. I think the dark background plays a part in that.
3.) warrior/dwarf of horse (4 row 6th pic) It's very hard to make out the features of this caracter. If you want to keep the horse in this picture I would turn the horse facing me(or you) and close up on the scene. Have part of the horses head in the frame and then have the rest of the character make up the rest of the area.
I think you did an awesome job with these characters. Very professional. You can tell right off the bat the you did your homework on the characters and armor/clothing you used.
I just love the carvinging in the armor you used for the 3rd row 1st pic reminds me of Larry Elmores version of Sturm Brightblade (that's a compliment!).
And on a finial note. I love the colors and anatomy you did for the caracher in the 3rd row 5th pic.
Cheers, and I look forward to seeing more of our work!

yeah... Agree with HellSpawn, they all look Very professional!!!
I might have a few small comments on some of the other characters... to add to the previous comments...
1. row 4th pic. It looks like his helmet just doesn't fit properly! The left side (our Left side!) seems to be off! I actually only noticed this, because this one was the only one where it just didn't seem to fit naturally!
4th row 4th pic. I somehow miss the old mans right hand (to our left!)!!! It seems to disrubt the balance in the pic! I dont know... but couldn't he be scratching/pulling his beard!?? Or smokin a pipe or something???
Last row 4th pic. I think there's something wrong with the foreshortening of the warriors swordarm! The upper arm also seems to short to me!
These are all Patheticly small problems... but I thought, that when everything now seems so much in balance and every detail seems to have been thought through, then why not give you my thoughts as well, small or big ones at least they are "fresh"!
Awesome work!!!

Other then, what theve mentioned. I think the 2nd icon on the 7th row is really hard to see. For that matter all the icons in the 6th and 7th rows are hard to see!
These pics look great, can't wait to see your modifications.
