Here's my latest. I'm so seriously fucking depressed.

Before you send your hate mail, let me defend this thing. It's a little bit Steadman, a little bit Wayshak, and a whole lotta Waita Uziga. Personal frustration abound. Needed to release energy.

Beyond that, I'm still playing with the anime thing, and I'm still preparing a "Better Than Sex" ink gallery for an upcoming art show.

Violence is so, so appealing right now.

Please comment!

Actually Little Bee, you're showing a great deal of artistic improvement.

Cheer up mate. Or use your depression as fuel to your inspiration and produce produce produce .. or if you prefer ehe

Wow, love the way it actually succeeds to express the violence, the simple coloring and shading really works too ) Only thing that bothers me is the direct connection between the mouth and the nose, then again the way it's drawn i guess it hasnt have to be, it's a personal thing i guess.. bottom line, i like it

depression sucks... think about how you feel now, and then picture yourself prescribed to an acne treatment that is known to cause depression (there have been about 157 sucides linked to the drug)... and you'll know where i'm at now. theres only one really good solution to depression that i can think of: sleeping pills and lots and lots of pot
but thats just what works for me. your results may differ. contact your docter before use. side effects my include munchies, sudden interest in shiney things, and... wait.. .what was i just talking about?
anyways, i like the picture... but what is happening to him? is he getting shot by something? whatever it is, its pretty cool
good job, keep it up.

oh yea, one more thing... resist the temptations of the dark side (*cough* anime *cough*). i've seen all too many good artists get dragged down by this "style". its like the communism of art.

Thanks, all! Replies below.

Ken: Thanks for the concern. I'm always on top of it, but life, women and Kinko's equal a ball of shit this week. The best thing about being this furious is how nicely it translates to paper.

Maceface: Amen. Where in Denver are you? I'm in Boulder; prepping for the Dark Arts thing at Cafe Netherworld in May. We should talk!

Awetopsy: That is a deep-felt compliment. I love the art director. America owes its market to the love and talent of Akira's makers.

Hyptosis: Mm, tongue.

Egerie: Thank you! I remember my first anime post attempt. I got one reply, more of a mandate: "Get thee to PolyKarbon!"

Nim: It looks a lot different on paper, actually. Noses seem more anime when they dip into mouths.

Geoman2k: Is the acne medicine Acutane? That shit depressed me for months. But then, I never got over my parents cornering me saying, "You need to clean up your face," putting me on that humiliating leper-flaking pill, and basically shaming me out of any confidence I'd had before. Pot is good. My sister supplies me with Melotonine.

Nanimo: Hell yes! I'm dancing here -- I inspired someone! Nice website. Love the zombie sketch. And your title reads like an epitaph in progress.
