ok, first of all let me say, i really hate to have to bother you people with this, but i'm hoping maybe one of you can help me out with this. now on to the question!

ok, a while ago, nearly a year and a half now... well two years come to think about it, there was apost on here that contained a link to a 3D fantasy art web page, that dipicted pictuers of dark angles, almost goth-like, complet with black wings. (all female pictuers) well, i used to visit it almost daily just to look at them. i really enjoyed the artist's work.
well, 4 reformats, 2 new computers, and a fried hard drive later (damn viruses) i've lost the web page. i've been trying for months to find it on my own, but as you can see i have not had any luck so far. so i thought, 'why not go to the place where you originaly found the link and ask around?' thus why i am here asking you now. =)

so if anyone has any ideas, or suggestions as to where i might be able to locate this page, please, please, please let me know. and help you might be able to offer is more then wonderful.
i only wish however i could give you more info about the page, this whole post seems a lot like one of those "you know that one guy who did that one thing?" questions... but i'd really like to find this page again.

Thanks in advance, and for just reading this.

It isn't Veb, and it isn't Enayla.

However, I do think you're right in thinking that it's that guy who paints girls with chains and wings and crap.

I'll look for link.

Hmm.. before I search any further, was it Darkmage of iCE?

His page isn't the same anymore, but go here:

http://www.ice.org/search.php

And enter "Darkmage" in the Artist box and search. See if any of those images look familiar.

There is another artist in my head, that I can't remember. If Darkmage wasn't who you were looking for, I'm certain this other guy I'm thinking of is... I'll keep looking.

Okay... I think the artist you might be thinking is Pascal Blanche.. does that sound familiar?

I know he USED to do a log of angels, but that was a while ago. His current homepage doesn't show any of his older stuff, though.

Nono, it's no bother. In fact, it is pissing me off that I can't remember! :P It's like when you're trying to remember the name of a song and it just annoys the hell outta you until you finally figure it out.

You say it was a 3D artist for sure, right? Do you have ANYTHING else at all to go on? Do you remember what some of the pics looked like?

actullay yes. i'll try and discribe it as best i can from memory:
it was a women, with black hair, and eyes (not totaly black, but a dark colored iris) she was squating down with her arm going inbetween her legs to the ground... i believe she was on a rock. she was in the nude, and had large black wings spaning out behind her.
her hair was not very long, it went down to about half-way over her neck, and appeard to be wet. thats all i can think of about it, sadly it's the only one i can actullay rember very well, beacuse it was on my desktop for a while, but i felt bad about it beacuse i never got the artist's premission to use it.

his or her art was in 3D, or at least computer genrated...

and yes it is like trying to rember the name of a song =) it's rather annoying, but i'll keep trying untill i find it.

Hm...could it have been fantasy-anime.org?

It isn't 3D, but this sounds a LOT like the picture: http://www.fantasy-anime.org/tdc/koreshaV250.jpg

Damnit Socar, that is the artist who I've been trying to come up with. I think his alias was/is Snakebyte? I couldn't remember his real name. I've been searching for his work for the past 48-hours; I'm such a deficient art-searcher.

Congrats Socar... *grumble*

Edit: Can you speak fluent Swedish yet, Socar?

I can't remember what his alias was, pixelsoldier--I just remembered the fantasy-anime.org bit, and that particular picture sounded familiar, so I checked it out.

Well, my Swedish is getting better all the time...now, if I could just quit mixing up "kk" and "kuk"....

uhh yea.. but you forget one crucial point Dameaon, the whole reward for looking so hard for this artist was to benefit YOU. It certainly wasn't for the good of my health. 2 days is one helluva lot of time to spending on a favor for someone else.

Being that I did put so much effort into helping you, a simple "thank you" would have been nice. How rude. :P

you would be correct, it was "O fortuna" by Carl Orff, however, i believe that the entire compsition was just breath takinging beautiful. it has quickly become my best CD (bet you didnt expect that from an 18 year old, huh?)

oh, and heres your cookie, it's extra dubble chocolate chip.

Backdraft =)

find anything that it can be tied to, anything, in this case the movie "Backdraft" and go from there.

but yeah, i'm strange that way, my MP3 list will be all soothing classical music, then BAM some heavy metal (mostly system of a down) then BAM techno, then BAM soft rock. lol i have a very wide taste in music.
