[Novacaptain]

Well...this is the second of my weekly painting series. well...fourth actually - but the second since i began counting - oh whatever.

It took me quite a while to get an idea of what to paint. I really need to get myself a digital (or regular) camera to take more reference shots to work with. My family photo albums are running dangerously low on good landscape photos. heheh

I couldn't resist adding a "little" satelite dish in the distance. Catpain flushgarden's matte kept poking on my inner eyes while i was thinking of what to put there.

imho, it seems too simple- the water looks too flat. nature is pretty unpredictable though, so it's not a real comment

perhaps a bit more texture work?

I agree with Mr.T, it's a bit simple IMO
I think maybe a lighthouse somewhere in there would help add some variety

I know you do a really good job of making believable vegitation... so uhm yeah do more of that please

I like it very much, even though it might be too simple to some eyes I like it as is. Especially that satellite dish in the back

I guess this should "fix" most of the issues...Does anyone have any suggestions regarding values? I'd really like to hear them.
