I found an image of this really pretty girl on photovault.com and decided to paint her
It feels kind of artificial and not expressive enough because I used a reference but oh well..it's not the end of the world. c&c welcome
EDIT: Fixed the eye and the nostril...Anything else I should pay attention too...really need critiques people (don't worry I won't go all apeshit on you if you say it sucks )

One thing... her right eye is too far to the right; makes the whole face look rather odd. I also think her right nostril may be too high. You should post the reference pic. |

Yeah I know the eyes seemed kind of weird to me as well but it's kind of like that in the photo as well. It'd be a shame to not paint them correctly because that's her best feature...
one reference pic comin' right up (damn photovault)

Hey, not bad! I have to disagree with Badseed subsides. The colors you picked are too yellow, especially for a sunlit face. Making the shadows warmer would help this alot.

Nice job. One thing, the flesh tones kinda off, should use more yellow. |

Thanks Cicinimo. Yeah I know I should've used more reddish tones...Well it's nothing a little hue and saturation adjustment can't solve.
Next time I'll try no refrence just to see how well I can do on my own.
Thnx for the comments again all. |
