This is a portrait of my cat Gizmo. Been working on this off and on for several weeks now. 5 minutes here, 10 minutes there... usually every 5-7 days, hehe. I'm so lazy

Anyway, here it is... finally forced myself to finish it:

I have never seen a cat look so dignified! The colors are great and the whole painting really comes alive. The way everything is set up your cat seems so determined.

LOL, I totally love the way you did the fur. Your fur rendering Kung Fu is solid

. I'm diggin' the "beard" that he's got. This is a great piece.

wow and i thought i was the only one who named their pet after the gremlins. my pet rabbit gizmo ran away when i was 8.

Maybe its a little flat in some areas. Very well done though.

wow very cool, like the post above I like the way you made the cat look noble. I also really like the glowing runes/writing around him. I especialy like the eyes..very intense...nice detail.

does it show that I'm a cat fanatic? You really outdid yourself on this one, I absolutely love it. I really see it as a poster on people's walls. And that lil goatee is absolutely adorable!!

I think you really captured the mysticism of cats.

Jez it looks great but I would play around a bit with the contrast just for shit's and giggles because I think it would look a bit better..just a thought

Not sure if you wanted Crits or not.. but I figured I just drop a few observations..

The left ear.. the inner part.. looks a little smudged out while the right looks good.. and has that dry glossy look.. maybe fix that a little.. and for some reason to me.. the fac seems a little flat.. like there isnt a enough depth to it. or something.. I dunno could be my monitor.. Anyhow.. Looks amazing as usual! I can't wait to see your next post..
