How weird is this?

For some reason, I get really creeped out looking at that drawing. It's got a semi-clay, semi-gloss-marble look, and my brain feels more textures than are actually there. Awesome effect. Do more shapes!

Have you actually seen "Gleaming the Cube"? Christian Slater at his best.

I own that movie, when I was a little skater, I loved it.

The cast shadow looks a little dark for a reflective surface. Also, the reflection fades from bottom to top. Shouldn't it fade from top to bottom?

(Can't post. I'm behind a firewall. If it's any consolation, I'm thinking of a very well-shaded cube. )
