Very cool imagery and colors, I like the subject matter...it's like the ending of Magnolia.

shoooot. i hate rushing pieces, not sure if i got this in on time. this is for don seegmiller's frog contest, of course. not much change here from the WIP version, just some additional reflections and the raised water level, which makes everything a lot more believable. it's not as polished as i would like, but it was a fun exercise. c&c welcome.

You gotta kiss a thousand frogs to get a prince.
Nice choice of colors.
Ill buy it.

Coolies! A rain of frogs?

I think there could be some selective highlight on the frogs' bellies and eyes, to give them that glistening-wet-slimy look.

About the atmosphere, maybe could fade the distant frogs even more, to give it a sense of large space and fog.

as already been said, it's a really fun image, I like it.

thanks all!

green man: i was thinking magnolia too, until i remembered that most of those frogs ended up inside out. insanely cool ending though .

hunago: i purposely left out highlights and shadows, a stylistic choice. not sure about more fading, but i do wish i had covered up the horizon entirely.

ann: thanks! but i don't think i'm quite as creative in style as you.
