They are quite good for a first shoot.
On the Feng Zhu inking, you really managed to deal the metal render. The major problem is the depth. There are no shadows on your work or those are made to shyly. That is normal because you respect the artwork of the inker. Just try to be more foolhardy and to give more contrasts.
First of all, choose your light source to cast the shadows properly.
Think of what you want the reader to see in the fisrt 1~2 seconds. It may seem not to be important because you worked on characters but, when you'll try on big pictures with many details, you'll have to show the way to the reader.
Hope it helps you.

that helps! i was thinking the same thing this morning when i woke up and looked at. It needs shadows under the chin, casting from the arm gun thingy, and more contrast up in the armpit area. thats something i seem to forget alot unless im working straight black and white. Thanks for the crit! |

Hmmm, I like the work!
So much better than my creepy coloring...
Is there any site where there's a detailed! description how to color characters in Photoshop [withot a tablet].
Stuff like : what kind of brushes, layersetup/order and that kind of stuff.
Or can somebody summarise it here?
I'm sooo lost... ![](images/smiles/icon_sad.gif) |
