lets see: made using 3dstudio max4 over a period of three months (two months in spare time, one month full time) rendered and made on a: p3 450, 128ram!
http://www.benfalcone.com/prettygirl.avi
(right click, save target as)

note: play FULL SCREEN.
requires : divx4 codec
warning : some scenes may offend.

its based very* loosley on the short story 'berenice' by edgar allan poe.
(for those that havent read it, about a man who falls in love with his cousins teeth)

six and a half mins long, completely silent, i guess its sorta experimental, the art house answer to the 3d animated short! uh, this is the first place ive posted this, so im a little nervous, i hope someone enjoys it and leaves a comment (or review)

a poster i painted up can be seen here :

and a few stills (tho its better if you dont look at these, they give too much away)

I've watched the first couple minutes, but the connection seems to have dropped. What I've seen so far is very cool though . . . its very dream-like . . . not nightmarish, but like one of those dreams you'll have that disturbs you a bit and makes you look at something in a different light.

I'll try and get the rest.

I spent a few hours downloading this, and while it is very well modeled and animated, I just don't get it. Maybe some sound, a little dialogue, something to clue the viewer in? I really didn't understand any of it.

it was cool, good camera techniques. (like the splitting of the screen, to show that shower head.) but i didnt know what to take from it, i guess it was a tragedy about people falling in love, that much is clear; but everything else seemed so vague.

anyways, it was an interesting and creative approach.

Well, I have to go search for that poem now so I can understand it. It was very cool though. Too quiet for me though. Some mood-setting music in the background, or sound-effects placed here and there would really help add to it I think.
