This seems to be all that I ever post, character concept drawings and such but I think this one came out really well. I think this is my favourite piece I have produced for a long time and wanted to share it

He belong to a primitive race of reptilian creatures that live in the mountains to the north of Orbis. They have a tribal type culture based on fighting prowess and form small warbands led by a chieftain. This guy would be a highly regarded warrior (not a chieftan), and stands about 8ft tall.

hope you like, as always any crits would be awesome

Very nice rendering, mate!

As far as critique goes I'd say that the torso and the belly seems a little on the light side for a creature of that sort.
I seems like he's missing some of his lower neck also, a lot of musculature extends into nowhere...

I get where you're heading though. With the small torso. I've been there myself, so I appreciate the design aspect of it
Here, see for yourself: http://poul_san.homepage.dk/PIX/creature7.jpg

Nice job once again!!

thanks for the advice. I had a look at your creature and think I can see what your saying. Is the one in your picture leaning forward or where you intending it to be short in the torso?

The musculature in the neck that you refer to is meant to be loose skin, like folds of excess skin similar to a frogs throat, but I see what you mean about it dissapearing into nothing suddenly.

Once again thanks for the crit

This is smart. I like it loads!

Concepts are the only thing I ever seem to draw. I can't be bothered drawing something that already exists.

I'm particularly fond of his neck piercings. The torso is perfectly suited to the character as far as I'm concerned. The eye is a little messy, though.

Have you drawn this with pencils?

Very impressive Bastion!

I think Louis summed it up very well with one word. Solid.

I look forward to seeing more of your work.

As a concept, I think its perfect left with a brown tint, no need to colour.

Although I would enjoy seeing a coloured version too.
