Hi again,
here is a picture I did out of fun and to try Adi Granovs technique (pencilwork and coloring in PS). I know I loosed with the tatoo on the right arm, I'm going to fix it one day
So, please follow the link and any constructive c&c are welcome

WEll I didnt bother dloading the whole image cos on a dial up it just takes too long, but I was soe of it and it looked ok, seems to work for you, but of course there is always room for improvement. I think you need to work on your drawing itself a bit longer, don't get me wrong though it is quite good, the pose is difficult. But the angle from which the viewer see's the action isn;t very intersting, it is too 'standard'. You need to think of a good perspective angle that will aid in the action of the picture and give it a more dynamic composition.
Keep it in mind next time, hope that helps... |

I like it Fritz. I think you captured the motion quite well except for one important bit, the blur on the head is moving in the wrong direction. It should be following the same direction as the knee. Also perhaps blur the whole head rather than just the hair.
The actual drawing is quite good though.
Hmm, I think you could make her a bit angrier too.

Hey, thanks a lot, that's really constructive!
@ Ian Jones: I tried different approaches and it ended up in very confusing compositions. I thought a clearer composition makes viewing easier. But I keep it in mind for the next pictures. And I have resized the picture, made it a bit smaller. I thought in the time of DSL it's not that importent anymore
@ AJ: You are absolutly right, you found what botherd me the whole time (next to the tatoo), but I couldn't find it.
@ Little Bee: Thx man |
