WOAH! Nice robot! One thing though, i dont think the rusty looks convincing enough. Right now, it looks like the robot is wrapped in a plastic wrap or something To make the rust more convincing, try to put the rust at the place where it meet contacts the most.

Really cool!
I think the rusty parts look good, too... .
The only thing is that there are too many of them... .
I'd get rid of some of these pars or maybe use different colors for the rust...
Hmmm, not sure...
Nice work anyway!

thank you everyone for thier helpful replies.I will have to try to find a way to reduce the amount of scratches without Making him look to new, I generally have always liked to draw really worn and old things, he is actually a robot warrior on his last leg. meybe ill replace some of the scratches with dents. Oh and yes that is a can opener, what better weapon to gutt other robots with.
