just thought I would post up my latest character sketches. Any crits are as always greatly appreciated.
I have this nasty habit lately of getting 3/4 of the way through a piece and then getting so bored rendering it that I rush the last quarter and really spoil the picture. I find it so obvious where I start a pic and where I finish just from the quality. I am seriously contemplating refining my style to make it less time consuming to get to this stage in the hope I will be able to finish a picture with the same enthusiasm that I started it.
Any suggestions in overcoming this, or is it simply a lack of discipline? |

Its a nice style. I like. The only thing though .. the girl's lower leg looks a bit too short and there is something wrong with her foot, but i cant put my finger on it. |

Hey Bastion, nice work.
I will be keeping an I on the posts here
'cause I think ya got a good question.
You do a lot of line shading, what about
using the paint brush to put in tones.
More like washes.
That's all I can think of to say right now,
I'm sure some one will have a good
answer for you.
Hey go check out click here and give me your c&c |

very good. your anatomy work could use a bit of improvement but the tone is excellent. |

Excellent work. I have to agree with everything Arkenoid said. The lower leg looks too short and her foot is drawn at an angle that makes it look wrong.
Take your time you have a lot going for you |

nice work. the only tip i can give you for your little problem is when you start to feel bored, just take a break. maybe go for a walk or something. If you go do something else for a while to take your mind off of it, when you return all your previous enthusiam should return also |
